Wildcats,

Any boys interested in competing in Track and Field in the Spring need to attend a brief meeting on Monday December 10 in Coach McNamara’s room D211 at 2:40.

Coach McNamara

Don’t forget to donate socks to any downstairs pod. When we asked the homeless shelters what they needed most their response was “Sometimes a clean pair of socks is better than getting a hot meal”.

Please donate socks so we can beat out Springs, Lake and Falls in this year’s charity drive.

Ask Ms. Watson, Ms. Bryan or Ms. Graham if you have any questions.

According to the most recent report from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, In Texas there were 29,615 persons homeless in 2013, meaning that approximately 12 out of every 10,000 persons in Texas are homeless. And in the Houston area, the most recent statistics indicate that more than 6,300 people are without a home on any given night.  As the weather gets cooler, the need for warmth and comfort grow stronger.

The Clear Creek High School PALS organization has teamed up with The Delta Kappa Gamma Organization to “Sock Out the Cold” by Creating a “CCHS Sock Market”.

From Wednesday, December 5- Wednesday December 18, Students, faculty and staff are asked to donate new socks for people ages 10-99 in any of the boxes in the downstairs pods and at the end of the contest the school that collects the most socks will be presented with a trophy and bragging rights until next years’ service project.
