All Clear Creek Independent School District schools and support facilities are physically closed for the remainder of the school year. Distance learning will continue through May 28, 2020 for students. Unfortunately, athletic fields and playgrounds are closed for visitors due to the stay-at-home orders. Modified Grading System
The Clear Creek Independent School District is joining a growing number of educational institutions and moving the second semester to a Pass/Fail grading system due to the Coronavirus crisis. Under this modified grading system, daily grades that culminate in a 60% or higher average will constitute as a Pass and credit earned for the semester for students in grades 6-12. Based on public input, the CCISD Board of Trustees will hold a special board workshop to discuss this change in more detail on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. This will be a virtual meeting due to COVID-19. The public may view the meeting on www.ccisd.net.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration Opens April 20, 2020
Beginning April 20, 2020, families with incoming pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students can begin the registration process online. Due to social distancing, CCISD is delaying the required documentation drop-off until August 2020. Online Registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten can be found at www.ccisd.net/enrollment. High School Summer School
Registration for summer high school is now open. High School summer school, for students entering grades 9-12, will be held virtually this year. Course enrollment information and summer school dates are located here.
Advanced Placement Test Update
CCISD encourages each student who has registered for AP exams to move forward with taking their exam or exams. Each teacher will be providing support via distance learning to assist students in preparing for the exam. Meals for Students
Clear Creek ISD is offering free lunch and breakfast pick-up for multiple days at a time. Monday’s pickup will include lunch and breakfast through Thursday morning. Thursday’s pickup will include lunch and breakfast through Saturday breakfast. This will be for drive through or walk up only between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at select schools. Clear Creek ISD’s Technology Help Desk is available for students and parents. If you are in need of technical support in your distance learning efforts, please call 281-284-0500 and choose option 4 between 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Free Internet Access
Access to a computer and access to the internet can be a challenge for a percentage of our families. We have sought information from parents and will be working to get them connected, especially at the secondary level. Two Internet Service Providers (ISP) are providing free, trial internet to homes who may not have access.
Comcast is offering:
Sixty (60) days of free Internet Essentials service, which is normally available to all qualified low-income households for $9.95/month.
For new customers, applicants can simply visit www.internetessentials.com (website includes written, and video chat customer service options) or by calling 1-855-846-8376 (English) or 1-855-765-6995 (Spanish).
Spectrum is offering:
Sixty (60) days free broadband and Wi-Fi access for households with K-12 and/or college students who don’t already have a Spectrum broadband subscription.
No installation fees for new households.

Student Counseling Services
While CCISD schools are physically closed, student counselors and support services are available to students. Please visit this website with social emotional support resources
Residency affidavits are currently on hold due to the emergency closure. Once the Stay at Home Orders are lifted, Clear Creek ISD will communicate steps to renew residency affidavits.
