You are invited to come see the CCTD production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen, directed by Tommy Bo.  A comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games, She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans (Victoria Blackburn) as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly (Ally Decker). When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with crazy fairies, nasty ogres, and 90’s pop culture, acclaimed young playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all. She Kills Monsters also stars Jake Forbes, Bryce Strickland, Faith Wiesen, Aizah Rahman, Riley Tamblyn, Maddy Vansco, Hunter Taylor, Alex Harrington, Molly Akin, Fatinah Al-Hmoud, as well as Rushil Patel, Marilyn Cruz, Shelby Pyle, Aspen Wright, and Yadir Hannon as monsters.

Performances will be on the Main Stage in a “Black Box” setting, therefore seats will be limited (65-70 capacity). The show runs February 1-3 at 7 PM. CCHS teachers are free, but please come by the Black Box/Mr. Hewlett’s room to pick up your ticket prior to the night’s performance to ensure a seat.
