CCISD Night for students, parents, teachers at UHCL
Clear Creek Independent School District students, parents, teachers and administrators can learn more about what University of Houston-Clear Lake has to offer at CCISD Night, Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 6-8 p.m.
The free event is an opportunity to mingle with faculty and staff, listen to “TED Talk”-styled research presentations and tour the UH-Clear Lake campus. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Garden Room of UHCL’s Bayou Building, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston. Light refreshments will be served.

UHCL is a four-year university with more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs as well as and three doctoral programs. Its four colleges include business, education, human sciences and humanities, and science and engineering.
The university supports several outreach centers: Center for Professional Development of Teachers, Art School for Children and Young Adults, Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Center for Educational Programs, Environmental Institute of Houston, Cyber Security Institute and the Center for Robotic Software. The centers support student development, faculty and student research opportunities, local businesses, industries and communities at large.
