Congratulations to senior HiLife editor, Morgan Severson, on winning the Galveston County Daily News Leslie P. Daughtry Scholarship. She will be honored by the newspaper at a breakfast in May. Criteria for the scholarship included displaying leadership qualities and  making a difference in the lives of others. There is $500 cash included with the award.
