Abby Cook, second year journalism student and junior, says she has always loved writing and is enjoying her first year reporting for the Creek HiLife. According to Cook, being a member of the newspaper staff gives her an opportunity to not just create, but also share what she has created with an audience. She has always valued justice and honesty, and newspaper is a perfect outlet to exercise those principles, as those codes and integrity are expected of a successful journalist. Outside of newspaper, Cook is a member of the International Thespians Society Troupe #3352 and Academic Decathlon team. She also enjoys listening to music and rewatching cartoons more times that would be considered reasonable to relax the brain.
