Last week art students from across CCISD competed for spots in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo competition.

Congratulations to Angela Yoon, who received a Gold Medal.

Receiving the Special Merit Award are Isabel Hu and Jeffrey Lim.

All three of these students’ artwork will be on display in the Hayloft Gallery during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, February 27-March 18.

This past weekend Cadets from the Wildcat Battalion competed in the Commons Ford Ranch Orienteering meet in Austin, TX.  Amanda Gumban Placed 3rd in the Female in the advanced course and Camille Dang-Fouty placed 2nd in the Base level Course. Congrats to all cadets who competed.

Congratulations to the Girl’s Junior Varsity swim team for both placing 2nd at the 24 – 6A JV District meet this past weekend. Congratulations to the following Wildcats for placing top 3 in their events. Kalani Duong for placing 2nd in the girls 200 yard Freestyle and 2nd in the girls 100 yard Butterfly Grace Meyer for placing 3rd in the girls 50 yard Freestyle and 2nd in the girl’s 100 yard backstroke. Girls 200 yard Medley relay took 3rd place and was comprised of Gillian Yanoc, Meghan Lindquist, Annika Neadeau and Grace Meyer. Girls 200 yard Freestyle relay took 2nd place and was comprised of Kalani Duong, Autumn DallaRosa, Gillian Yanoc and Aubrey Bartlett. Girls 400 yard Freestyle relay took 2nd place and was comprised of Kalani Duong, Aubrey Bartlett, Autumn DallaRosa and Grace Meyer.

Congratulations to the Boys’s Junior Varsity swim team for winning the 24 – 6A JV District meet this past weekend.Congratulations to the following Wildcats for placing top three in their events. Andrew Kapfer for placing 2nd in the boys 200 yard Freestyle Preston Sanders for placing 2nd in the boys 200 yard Individual Medley and 1st in the boys 100 yard Butterfly Carson Trout for placing 3rd in the boys 200 yard Individual Medley and 3RD in the boys 100 yard Butterfly Keanu Duong for placing 2nd in the boys 100 yard backstroke. Boy’s 200 yard Medley relay took 1st place and was comprised of Carson Trout, Ty Crouch, Preston Sanders and Keanu Duong. Boy’s 400 yard Freestyle relay took 3rd place and was comprised of Carson Trout, Keanu Duong, Andrew Kapfer and Preston Sanders.
