On Friday March 2, the Boys Track Team competed in the Crosby Relays in Santa Fe.  The boys team finished second overall in the meet.

The 4×100 relay team of DaShawn Marks, Sam Mathews, Emilio Allison, and Cody Spears finished second.

Todd Hoover finished 4th in the 800m Run

Gavin Gragg finished second in the 110 Hurdles

The 4×200 relay team of DaShawn Marks, Nate Jackson, Emilio Allison, and Sam Mathews finished 3rd

Cody Spears finished second overall in the 400m Run

The 4×400 relay team of Josh Ellsoos, Douglas Aguilar, Doss Plunkett, and Cody Spears finished third overall.

In the Discus throw the Wildcats swept the medals with Luis Gonzalez, Conner Land, and Chad Lindberg getting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.

In the Shot Put Chad Lindberg took gold with an impressive throw of 55 feet 2 inches.   Brett Bush took 4th and Jacob Pierson took 5th.

In the Long Jump Andrew Dry took third

In the High Jump Evan Vawter won Gold

And William Phelps finished 3rd in the Pole Vault.

Boys Golf

 

Great job this past weekend to our Clear Creek Boys varsity 1 and varsity 2 teams,

They played in the Clear Creek Wildcat invitational at Moody Gardens where the varsity 1 team Advanced five spots from day one to take second place in the tournament.

On the varsity 2 team Josh Majewski had the low tournament total, over two days, shooting 88 the first day and 85 the second day. On the varsity 2 team, Hunter Drotts had the low tournament total shooting 80 the first day and 75 the second day. And lastly a shout out to freshman Jacob Salazar for shooting a tournament Low 73 on the second day of play. Great job boys!

It was a bittersweet weekend for most of the Wildcats debate seniors competing in their last tournament of their high school career. We do have some great results as Senior Alisha Sood finishes in the top 32 of the state by being a quarterfinalist in Foreign Extemp.
