AUSTIN, TEXAS  – ScoreMore Shows is excited to announce that the sixth annual music festival will return to both Dallas and Austin on May 4 and 5, respectively. Additionally, the Festival team is excited to reveal that the traveling statewide tour will make a return to Houston on Sunday, May 6, after a long-awaited hiatus since the event’s inception in 2013.

In the tradition of years past, JMBLYA will continue to offer festival-goers a stacked lineup filled to the brim with a highly curated selection of performers that blends together some of today’s biggest national acts with exciting up-and-comers. In a continued effort to improve the overall experience for attendees, several notable changes are set to take place at all of the 2018 events, which include but are not limited to the following:

  • Expanded water filling stations with an unlimited amount of FREE water through a new partnership with Event Water Solutions
  • Doubling the number of food vendors overall in GA, as well as adding more food options in VIP
  • Increasing the size of our bars and expanding to feature special bars dedicated to nonalcoholic offerings
  • More shade structures to stay cool and avoid the sun

Additionally, JMBLYA will again offer several different VIP packages for those looking to elevate their on-site experience. The upgrade options this year start with the Pinky Rang VIP at $99, which will provide the pass holder with expedited festival entry through an exclusive VIP-only entrance, a premium VIP viewing area, and access to the VIP-only bar and air-conditioned bathrooms. Gator Boots VIP at $129 will feature all of the previously listed amenities in addition to complimentary official festival merch. Those festival attendees who instead opt to purchase the Fur Coat VIP option for $299 will have access to all of these previously listed on-site comforts as well as the chance to view performances from a private elevated viewing deck and will receive an official JMBLYA hoodie.

New for this year, JMBLYA will be partnering with the NBA Houston Rockets’ James Harden’s Lucky 13 Program to provide opportunities for Houston area residents to earn free tickets to the festival in exchange for participating in upcoming community service projects. In addition, the Festival will benefit their 2018 partners, beloved Houston-based rapper Trae Tha Truth’s Angel By Nature Foundation, a Houston-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which is dedicated to providing hurricane relief to those affected by Hurricane Harvey and improving life for individuals who have been affected by hardship and impoverishment, especially the underserved youth; as well as Grounded in Music, an Austin-based 501(c)3 which works with underprivileged children in grades 4 and up to provide music instruction which would be otherwise absent from their school’s curriculum and connect children to nationally known musicians, opportunities, and scholarships.

Stay tuned as additional JMBLYA details, including locations, the full music lineup, and information on how to earn free tickets through various community service projects, will be announced in the weeks ahead.
