The Lady Wildcat varsity golferstravelled to College Station this past weekend to compete in the A&M Consolidated Championship at Pebble Creek.  The Lady Wildcats were troopers and fought thru 2 days of cold, rain and mud.  Team members included Trinity Le, Caroline Singletary, Peyton Galyean, Bianca Zamora and Ana Vallejo.  After day 1 the Lady Wildcats found themselves in 4th place but only 3 strokes out of 1st place.  ON day 2, everyone improved upon their day 1 scores in order to come from behind and win the tournament by 4 strokes.  Trinity set her new 2 day personal best score by shooting 80 and 74 to become the tournament champion, winning by 12 strokes!  Congratulations Lady Wildcats!

TheVarsity Girls Track Teamcompeted at the Reggie Crosby Santa Fe Track Meet this past Friday taking 2ndPlace overall as a Team.

 

Getting the Track Meet off to a great start was Olivia Lueking winning the Pole Vault and breaking her own Clear Creek High School record of 11’ 6” by vaulting 12’ 0” and Olivia also took 1stPlace in the 300 Hurdles. Continuing the success was Savannah Lopez taking 1stPlace in the 800 Meter run, and taking 1stPlace in the 4×400 Meter Relay was the Team of Zoe Rennison, Melissa Lemon, Michaela Kinsky, and with the amazing finish of Olivia Lueking to seal the win. Allie Cummings took 2ndPlace in the 2-Mile and 3rdPlace in the 1-Mile. Also taking 3rdPlace finishes were Kirsten Lockett-Bell in the 200 Meter Dash and Melissa Lemon in the Triple Jump. Other scorers included Amber Farrar taking 4thin the 2-Mile and 6thin the 1-Mile, Savanah Lopez took 4thPlace in the 1-Mile, Olivia Lueking took 4thPlace in the 800 Meter Run, Kirsten Locket-Bell took 4thPlace in the Long Jump, and the 4×100 and 4×200 Meter Relay Teams of De’Azhia Smith, Kirsten Locket-Bell, Zoe Rennison, Michaela Kinsky, and Melissa Lemon took 5thPlace overall.
