Yesterday, four Creek choirs went to the annual UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest in Dickinson, competing at the Sub-Non-Varsity (freshmen), Non-varsity (JV), and Varsity levels. All four choirs received ones (Superior, the highest) ratings from all 6 judges: 3 judges in concert, and 3 judges in sight reading. As a result, we brought home four more Sweepstakes trophies to add to the decades-long tradition of UIL success in the Creek Choir program.

The Theatre Department congratulates Bryce Strickland for being selected as the 2019 Master of Variables by the audience at the 3rd Annual CCISD Improv Show.  All five Creek participants demonstrated strong collaborative skills as they created hilarious scenes with their CCISD counterparts.

The Theatre Department invites you to attend the final performance of this year’s One Act Play, Watch on the Rhine, on Saturday night at 7:00 in the Auditorium.  This stirring drama set in 1940 tells the story of a family of refugees trying to escape the spread of fascism in Europe only to find that the conflict has followed them to America.  Admission to the performance is free.

The Theatre Department will be holding auditions for the Spring Coffee House variety show on April 9 & 10.  Auditions are open to all CCHS students for acts ranging from music to poetry to comedy to dance or anything else you can come up with.  Please sign-up for an Audition time outside of the Black Box.
