New trash compactor prototype for NASA’s International Space Station. Project done with Mr. Merritt and his students.

Merrit said,  “The Architectural/Civil engineering Team designed a Trash Compactor Prototype. The design was so successful that NASA Engineers stated that this prototype pushed the Trash Compactor design ahead by 5 years. Engineers also stated that Clear Creek High School Engineering should be responsible for the next NASA Engineered Prototype for Flight testing.”
