Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, I attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee and completed my Master’s degree through Lamar University. I love to try new restaurants, travel and go to the gym, when time allows.

I started my career teaching self-contained 5th grade in Nashville and then became a Science teacher and never looked back.  I moved to Houston in 2008 and taught in Sheldon and Aldine ISD.

For the last five years, I have been a Science Skills Specialist in Aldine and I am excited to join the Wildcat team as an Assistant Principal!
