Attention Wildcats.  CCISD has two opportunities for you to potentially earn additional credits towards graduation outside of the school day.

Clear Stars, formerly night school, is now being offered at Creek two days a week after school for those needing to recover credits.  If you did not earn credit for a course due to a failing grade or attendance, Clear Stars is a great opportunity for you to earn those required credits back.  Clear Stars will be held on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 2:45 pm – 4:45 pm.  Please register with your Counselor and make payment by Friday, September 20. Classes will begin on Monday, September 23.

Clear Access, CCISD Virtual School, is registering now for Fall enrollment.  This allows you to take high school courses on-line outside of your regular 7 period schedule through a computer and internet connection.  Clear Access is for original credit only and you must meet any prerequisites to enroll in a course.  Please register with your Counselor and make payment by Friday, September 20. Classes will begin on Monday, September 23.

See your Counselor to learn more about cost, payment options, and course offerings.  You can make a request to see your Counselor using your It’s Learning student homepage or stop by the Counselor Corner during all lunches.

Students enrolled in AP, Pre-AP, or Advanced Academic course work, your first opportunity to level-down is approaching.  Students must be attending tutorials, completing all assignments, and turn in a “Level Down Request Form” with parent signatures.  Forms will be available starting Monday, September 9th and are due by 3:00 pm Friday, September 13th.  No late forms will be accepted.  The second opportunity to level-down will be available again at the 9-week report card.
