The Boy’s Soccer team is off to a great start.

Last week they placed second in the CCISD Varsity Tournament.

Last night they traveled to Strake Jesuit and won 2-1 on a fantastic team effort. Goals were scored by Elijah Anderson and Ronaldo Gonzales.

Great team defense led by Jordan Pruitt, Ethan Weber and Lucian Jurnalov in the goal helped secure the victory.

This weekend the team travels to Austin to compete in the Longhorn Challenge and district play begins next Friday Jan 24th at home vs Brook.

Try outs for the 2020  water polo teams will be January 27th and 29th from 3:00 – 4:30 at the pool. Athletes will need a physical on file and must have participated in a school activity during the fall semester to try out. Athletes wishing to try out but are still in season for another sport should talk with Coach Halford about their intention to play. You can see Coach Halford in room E-170 or at the pool if you have any questions.

For the first time this year, in addition to the traditional scholarships awarded to the four year university students, the PTSA has decided to offer scholarships to students who want to attend a trade school.

The scholarship will be a one-time scholarship for $500. We hope to give between 1 and 3 trade school scholarships, depending on the turnout of applications received.

The application for the trade school scholarship is different from the four year university scholarship, but both can be found on Naviance.

The PTSA application for  Technical College/ Vocational School (trade school) scholarship can be found in Naviance under Colleges tab > Scholarships and Money > Scholarships List > then in alphabetical list it can be found under Clear Creek High School PTSA Technical College/ Vocational School Scholarship.
