The tennis team competed in the Foster/Holtman Varsity Tournament this weekend and outstanding play came from the following:

Ford Cunningham & Jessi Nifong placed 1st in A mixed doubles and remain undefeated on the spring season
Michael Raji placed 2nd in A boys singles
Karolina Pazdrak placed 1st in B Girls Singles
Adam Moore & Clark Crookston placed 1st in consolation A Boys doubles
Ryan Fanders & Michael Nelson placed 1st in consolation B boys doubles

Congratulations to the girls water polo team for taking 5th place in the Brook Battlefield Tournament and to the boys water polo team for taking 1st place- by defeating Strake Jesuit by a score of 9-8.

This was a busy and competitive weekend for the speech and debate team. We have a few students get really close to nationals by getting eliminated right before the final round. But we also had some really good news in that Seniors Sahar Jiwani and Christina Morrison qualified for Nationals and will be representing Clear Creek in Salt Lake City, this summer.

The CC Men’s Soccer teams faced Clear Falls on Friday.
The Varsity team won 6-2 with goals from Alvaro Anez and Reece Winters and 4 goals from Cooper Wamack.
This victory seats the team firmly in 4th place and 1 point behind Brazoswood who comes to Creek to play tomorrow night.
JV takes on Brazoswood at 5:00 in the stadium and Varsity at 7:00.

Applications for Child Guidance (Trooper School) and Teacher Education and Training need to be turned in by this Friday, March 4. You may still pick one up in the counselor’s office, the Pods, or with Mrs. Fanders or Mrs. Radicioni.

Congratulations to the Creek DECA team who competed this past this past weekend at its state competition in San Antonio. With more than 4400 competitors in attendance, Creek advanced eight national qualifiers, beating out all other CCISD schools. The following students will now move on to compete at the DECA national competition held in Nashville, Tennessee in April.

Congratulations to Katelyn Zaro and Montserrat Montoya. They got 3rd place in First Aid/CPR at Area HOSA competition this past weekend. They will compete at state competition in April.
