The varsity tennis team competed in the Spring Branch Varsity Tournament this weekend.  32 two of the of the top teams from the Houston area & the state were in attendance and outstanding play from the Wildcats came from the following:

 

Ford Cunningham & Jessi Nifong placed runner-up in Mixed doubles in a hard fought 3rd set match.  Ford and Jessi are currently ranked #2 in the greater Houston area and among the top 8 teams in the state.

Michael Raji placed 3rd in Boys singles

Tyler Norman placed 7th in Boys Singles

Safe Rahman & Brian Martin placed 7th Boys doubles

The Varsity Girls Track Team competed at the Santa Fe Invitational this past Friday and finished 2nd Overall in the Team Standings.

1st Place finishers included the 4×400 Meter Relay Team of Jessica Ransom, Kristina Paul, Brittany Clark, and Jessica Skladal, Hailey Chorn in the 2-Mile Run, and Anna Scheuring in the Pole Vault. 2nd Place finishers included the 4×100 and 4×200 Meter Relay Team of De’Azhia Smith, Jessica Skladal, Brooke Ware, and Ashlynn Weaver, Jessica Ransom in the 100 and 200 Meter Dash, Kristina Paul in the 400 Meter Dash, Hailey Chorn in the 1-Mile, and Skiye Sparks in the Shot Put. Other Lady Wildcats who scored points for their Team included Brittany Clark in the 400 Meter Dash, Skiye Sparks in the Discus, De’Azhia Smith in the 100 Meter Dash, and Jada Dale in the Shot Put and Discus.
