Friday Nov. 18 Project Graduation will be serving lunch on the patio.

 

Clear Creek JROTC cadets competed last weekend at the Battle of the Bayou drill competition in Pasadena. The Male Color guard team, consisting of Quentin Belcher, Gary Easterwood, Michael Potter and Gavin Shanks placed 3rd  overall, with Quintin Belcher receiving the award for Best Color Guard Commander. The Female Physical Training Team consisting of Lauren Erickson, Sara Warren, Camille Dang-Fouty, and Sabrina Cortinas earned 1st place overall in the competition, as well as, being awarded for having the fastest one mile relay time.  Lauren Erickson received awards for most push-ups and most sit-ups and the Iron women medallion.

Clear Creek High School JROTC and National Technical Honor Society are conducting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the “No More Victims” organization of Houston.  Donation Boxes are in each of the pods and we will be accepting donations until Thursday.  Any food item to include Turkeys and Hams would be greatly appreciated.

The Wildcat band would like to congratulate the following students for making the All Region Full Orchestra. Junior Jason Keyzer earned 1st chair on trombone and Senior Nick Nuggar earned 4th chair on percussion. Jason was also awarded a chair in the Area band for a chance to audition into the Texas All State band!
