As December nears, the anticipation is building for another exciting soccer season. With returning stars, new talent, and coaches eager to win, the soccer team gets ready to take the pitch and kick off the season full of grit and school pride.
But before the season starts, players will have to prove if they have what it takes to make the team. Tryouts will be held from December 1-3, giving players the chance to show their skills and talents.
This offseason, the coaching staff underwent lots of changes. The biggest change is the new addition at head coach, Aaron Beck. Players are excited about the change and looking forward to seeing what kind of tactics and tricks their coaches can pull out of their sleeves.
“I am looking forward to seeing how the new coaches will adapt,” Player Fabrizio Galliard said.
The players are ready to start their season off and even have their eyes on winning a title or two.
“My personal goal for this season is to save a penalty, but most importantly winning district,” Player Diego Hinojosa said.
Soccer is not just about playing the game. It is more than that. It’s about making deeper connections with your teammates on the pitch, building team chemistry and friendship that goes beyond the pitch. “
What I like most about soccer is connecting with my teammates on the pitch and making memories,” Galliard said.
As tryouts get closer, players need to make sure physicals and RankOne forms are completed and turned in as they are required to participate.
Tryouts will take place from 2:45 to 4:30pm on December 1-3. Players will need to bring cleats and running shoes. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Beck ([email protected]).
